  • 0800 Review emails and tasks for the day
  • 0815 Prepare for a client workshop
  • 1100 Probation and Career Development meeting with a staff member
  • 1200 Lunch with client to discuss a potential work opportunity
  • 1330 Facilitate an Open Space Technology Workshop
  • 1730 Home for dinner and some quiet time

 

Why did you decide to join Velrada?

I joined Velrada as I wanted to be part of a dynamic team of information management specialists who were passionate about delivering quality outcomes to their clients. I was also excited about the opportunity to have input into a start-up company and participate in the development of the Velrada brand and culture.


I have really enjoyed the journey so far and have learnt a great deal both personally and professionally. Velrada has a great sharing culture that fosters learning and growth and encourages new and different ways of doing things. We have a lot of fun and its great working with such a diverse group of talented people.


What do you enjoy most about your role?

As a senior consultant I enjoy engaging with people to design and deliver pragmatic solutions that deliver real business outcomes. I relish the opportunity to work with businesses to resolve issues that are impacting their performance or to develop innovative strategies or solutions to meet business requirements.


I also enjoy the diversity of my role as I get to work on a range of projects with different clients in both the public and private sector. This allows me to apply my skills to different business scenarios and industries, as well as further my knowledge and skills.


What projects are you currently working on?

Currently I am working with a resource company to define a practical, cost effective information management solution for improving the organisation's document management and information sharing capabilities. I'm working with staff to identify requirements and scope a pilot that will deliver the basic functionality and be saleable to the rest of the business over the long term.


Prior to this I was working with another resource company to deliver a change management program to support the implementation of a new business system.
